Assynt - The Photographs...

Well, I've since discovered that I can actually add photos to a blog on this template! Doh!! So, rather than edit what I've already published I thought it would be best to just write a new post and include the photos from the trip to Assynt in a sort of mini-gallery style blog.

Without further ado, here are the photos from my trip up into the wilds and beauty of Assynt, Scotland.

The first series of photographs were taken around the Coigach area during Saturday under blue skies and lots of sunshine.

The next two photos were taken during the late evening, into the early part of the night as we enjoyed a beautiful view of the stars under a clear sky and bright, crescent moon.

Camp and Ardvreck Castle with the faint tail of the Milky Way overhead.

Sunday dawned early and cold, there was fresh snow on the ground and a hard frost from overnight. After camp was broken we headed off along the shore of Loch Assynt looking for a suitable sunrise location.

We then started our road trip back south while looking for any photo opportunities that presented themselves.
