After last weekends early morning trip out to Lochnagar and then off up to Cullen for the sunset we managed another trip out on Thursday evening. This time we were visiting Peterhead to watch the Blades Aerobatics display team, the show was part of Peterhead Scottish Week.

It was the first air display I’ve seen in quite a few years and a perfect excuse to take out my 300mm lens and put it to good use! We had a beautiful evening with blue skies and just a hint of haze - perfect viewing conditions.

The display takes place out over Peterhead Harbour and lasted around 20 mins.
